Membership Fees
The Association is funded almost entirely by membership subscriptions. Our membership fees are aligned with the financial year ie 1 July to 30 June each year. Members have the option to pay for one or three years’ fees at a time.
The first year of membership is discounted for first-time members of the Association. There is a discounted rate for retired judicial officers (includes retired judicial officers sitting on the bench in a reserve capacity).
New members: The membership fee for first-time membership to 30 June 2025 is $70.00 (incl. GST) or $630 (incl. GST) for three years’ membership to 30 June 2027. Please note that if you join the AJOA for the first time as a retired member of a Court, you are eligible for the lower 3 year rate for existing members who are retired judicial officers – see below.
Membership of the AJOA is strictly limited to those persons who meet our eligibility criteria as set out in our Rules above. You can register online here. If you are unsure as to your eligibility, please contact us to enquire about membership.
