IAJ: Call for United Nations International Day of Judicial Independence

The IAJ have called on the UN to establish an “International Day of Judicial Independence – 1000 Robes March” on 11 January each year. The date marks the anniversary of an unprecedented action in 2020 in defence of the independence of the Polish judiciary which saw judges of all Europe gather to join with Polish judges in protest.
